The ACBU has been recognized in Europe
The Associated Collecting Businesses of Ukraine (ACBU) is the only all Ukraine professional association of collectors (It was founded in December 2008. Presently, the Association consolidates the following companies: CCG Credit Collection Group, Obligations’ Execution Service LLC, Verdict Company, which is a part of eCall group of companies, European Agency for Debt Recovery LLC, Ukrborh LLC, Ukrainian Collection Group LLC) has been officially accepted to the Federation of European National Collection Associations - FENCA.
FENCA was founded on January 15, 1993 and presently consolidates the Associations of Collection Companies of 17 European countries (Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Grate Britain, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine).
The major goal of the activity of the Federation of European National Collection Associations is assisting to the development of legal basis in the sphere of collection services in the countries, which are the members of FENCA; creating specialized teaching centers in the presented regions; development and implementation of key rules and recommendations for the members of Federation, which regulate the relations in the chain “creditor”– “debtor” – “collector”.
Some of the main conditions for entering the FENCA are correspondence of local Associations to the requirements and norms of the domestic legislation, following confidentiality rules in the sphere of relations between collection companies and clients and borrowers.
The ACBU completely satisfies the abovementioned requirements: the activity of the companies, which are the participants of the Association is regulated by corresponding norms and the Code of Collector’s Ethics.
